It synergizes very well with all mages, but even better on hyperscaling ones like Cassiopeia because she can build 6 full items, giving you an insane amount of stats lategame. Cassiopeia is one of the best champions in extended trades, so she can fully utilize the magic resistance shredding passive of this item. Liandry's Anguish: This is the only mythic item you want to buy on Cassiopeia because of how well it synergizes with her kit. The slow makes it so much easier to land your abilities, but that's not all of it! Her ability to kite and reposition are improved 3x with Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Phase Rush, as almost noone will be able to stop you if played correctly. Rylai's Crystal Scepter: Great synergy with her entire kit. Once transformed into Seraph's Embrace, you will get more damage and mana to support the lategame hypercarry plastyle of Cassiopeia.
She has absolute no problems stacking the Tear of the Goddess as she can spam her Twin Fang and get all the mana refunded. Archangel's staff: Cassio is very mana hungry so a big manapool is required in order for her to spam abilities.
